Opening Keynote 

Mr. Mehmet Ogutcu: Mehmet Öğütçü is a globally recognized expert in energy, investment, and geopolitics with over 30 years of experience spanning diplomacy, international organizations, and the private sector; he currently chairs Global Resources Partnership and advises major energy and investment groups, while previously serving as a Turkish diplomat, senior official at the International Energy Agency and OECD, and executive at companies such as British Gas, combining policy, business, and strategic advisory expertise across Europe, Asia, and emerging markets.

Moderator

Mrs. Nursel Atar: Nursel Atar is an internationally qualified attorney and founder of Legisterra Consulting, with legal education spanning Turkey, the United States, and Canada (LL.B., LL.M., J.D.). She has practiced law across multiple jurisdictions and advises international organizations and companies, particularly on cross-border legal and business matters. Actively engaged in global business networks, she also serves in leadership roles such as Vice Chair of the Turkey–Canada Business Council, reflecting her strong involvement in international trade and economic diplomacy.

Panelists:

Mr. Gorkem Kivanc Uclertopragi: Kıvanç Görkem Üçlertoprağı is a mechanical engineer and energy executive, currently serving as Chairman of Transpasifik Enerji, a firm he founded in 2015 specializing in energy consulting, trading, and strategic development. With a Master’s degree in energy systems and international experience in Germany, he is actively involved in global energy discussions—particularly LNG, renewables, and energy transition—and contributes to multiple international business councils while engaging in industry events, panels, and thought leadership.

Mr. Manuel MalekiManuel Maleki is Deputy Director of Economic Research at the Edmond de Rothschild Group. In addition to his macroeconomic and geopolitical expertise, he has developed a recognized expertise in energy and oil in particular. Previously, Manuel worked in Paris, London, and Brussels, both in the public sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on economic intelligence issues, and in the private sector at the rating agency Standard & Poor’s, where he was in charge of country ratings; at ING Bank as a macroeconomist; and at La Banque Postale as an economist-strategist. Manuel holds a Ph.D. in Economics and is a graduate of the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.

Mr. Andrea Moscariello: Andrea Moscariello is a senior geo-energy expert and academic, serving as Head of Geo-Energy / Reservoir Geology and Basin Analysis at the University of Geneva. With extensive experience across research, industry, and technical leadership in the upstream and geothermal sectors, he specializes in subsurface energy systems, including geothermal exploration and reservoir analysis, and actively contributes to advancing sustainable energy solutions through multidisciplinary projects and international collaborations.

Mr. Jorge Ruiz del Vizo: Jorge Ruiz del Vizo is a Geneva-based energy and infrastructure executive, currently serving as CEO of Black Tree Energy Group and Senior Partner at Mencey Capital Management. With over 15 years of experience in project development, finance, and advisory, he focuses on driving large-scale energy and infrastructure projects globally, with particular expertise in clean energy investment and project bankability. He also plays a key leadership role in the industry as President of the Geneva Energy Forum, fostering collaboration between global stakeholders in the energy transition.
